The Winegard 12v Socket Wall plate is a replacement part for a standard Winegard kit (i.e. a Winegard without a Sensar Pro). This unit is equipped with a poly switch (current limiting device), which will shut down +12v if there is direct short between antenna and power supply. The device will reset itself in app. 2 minutes once short is eliminated.
