The ALKO Standard 12-inch Electric Brake Magnet to be used with Backing Plate.  It is  vital your magnets are in good condition as these are first to work in the braking drum.  Magnetising up from your electric brake signal and then grabbing onto your rotating hub drum. They force your brake shoes to splay out slowing your van down. It is important to change them well before they deteriorate.
