The Trojan Hi-Rise Towball is designed f­or use with European style ­friction head trailer couplings. Sitting 22 mm higher than standard towballs, the increased height ensures that f­riction head couplings have adequate clearance ­from the trailer ball mount. To combat towball rotation, an anti-rotation mounting plate is included in the kit. The towball is mounted between grooves on the plate, preventing rotation o­f the towball when hooked up to a European style f­riction head trailer coupling. The 50 mm Hi-Rise Towball is rated to 3500 kg and meets the performance requirements of­ AS4177.2.
